The European Professional Drivers Association hosted the Third Annual Irish
Professional Driver Championships in Naas Racecourse on 27th September 2025. It was
a very successful event and we were delighted to be joined by competitors from
Finland, the USA, and Brazil, making this truly a global celebration of professional
driving.
What began as a small gathering has grown into a prestigious platform that highlights
both skill and professionalism in the road haulage sector. Here, we celebrate not just
advanced vehicles, but the true heart of the industry—the drivers whose expertise
keeps our roads and businesses moving safely and efficiently.
Over the weekend, competitors faced ten demanding driving challenges that reflect
real-world conditions, alongside a knowledge test on road safety, tachographs, and
regulations—core elements of a safe and efficient transport system.
We look forward to hosting the next event in Summer 2026, in preparation for the team
selection for the World Professional Driver Championships in Autumn 2026 in Germany.
