Circle K Professional Driver Services

Circle K Covid 19 Update
Following the announcement by the Government of further restrictions being imposed for the coming two weeks, Circle K want to update you on their position as a business.

The key points to note from the Government’s announcement on Friday 27th March are;
• All public and private gatherings have been banned for two weeks
• Everyone must stay at home except for those who need to travel to and from work where the work is considered an essential service
• People can leave the home for groceries and food
• Public transport is restricted to essential workers
• The delay phase is effective from midnight 28th March until Easter Sunday April 12th

The Government has recognised fuel and convenience retail outlets as providing essential services and therefore Circle K service station network will remain open in order to continue providing essential services to the public in these challenging times. Circle K are very proud that they have been recognised by Government as essential workers & essential services in this crisis and Circle K will continue to play a crucial role.

Their company owned service stations are open and fully operational. Circle K will continue to open our doors to professional drivers to provide all the essential services such as food, coffee, groceries, fuels, Adblue and toilets & shower facilities will remain open. They have taken these decisions knowing that many of the emergency services, front-line health care workers, haulage firms & professional drivers rely on these services.

Due to HSE grequirements they will be further enhancing social distancing measures in store and there will be a requirement to control the number of people in the store at any one time. At this time seating areas must remain closed as required by the HSE. Circle K will keep professional drivers updated on any changes to this stipulation.

A company spokes person for Circle K said that they will keep monitoring updates from the HSE, Department of Health and World Health Organisation and will follow their expert advice.
and went on to say “As we now enter this critical period for our country, we need to continue to play our part in supporting the healthcare staff, the emergency workers and other providers of essential services who are keeping us safe and keeping the country going at this difficult time.”

Circle K are currently updating our website ( www.circlek.ie ) with an information page where you can receive regular updates. Their site locator can be accessed here ( https://www.circlek.ie/service-station/site-locator/ ) where you also find site opening hours.
