The Parkour will have 10 SKILL driving stages and one ECO driving test
1. Stop on the line – Move from the parking slot to a marked line, to put both front weehls direct on the line. The vehicle is to be secured with the parking brake the driver blows the horn to signal the judge the task is finished. And then the clock starts to run.
2. Bicycle proximity – Safety distance to the cyclist comply (1.50m). The vehicle must pass by the bike in such a way that the centre of the bike and the vehicle tire diameter of both the front and back axle form a line and the distance is a minimum of 1.50m. The vehicle is to be secured with the parking brake the driver blows the horn to signal the judge the task is finished.
3. Knock the soldiers (Domino blocks passenger side) – The vehicle is to be approached by the Domino blocks so that the left side of the vehicle overturns/knocks the inner (green) Domino blocks (4 units). The vehicle is to be secured with the parking brake the driver blows the horn to signal the judge the task is finished.
4. Fuel pump parking – Drive to simulated fuel stop. Stop at dispensing pump to facilitate refuelling operation, at a prescribed distance of 1.25m , to be measured from a marked point on the fuel tank to a marked point on dispenser. The vehicle is to be secured with the parking brake the driver blows the horn to signal the judge the task is finished.
5. Air line parking – Drive to simulated tyre inflation. Stop at the tyre inflation machine to facilitate your tyre inflation operation, at a prescribed distance of 1.25m, to be measured from a marked point on the back tyre to a marked point on the inflation machine. The vehicle is to be secured with the parking brake the driver blows the horn to signal the judge the task is finished.
6. Pendulum Bullseye – The vehicle must be stopped in such a way that a solder/rod mounted on the bumper points to the centre of the target disk. The vehicle is to be secured with the parking brake the driver blows the horn to signal the judge the task is finished.
7. Height awareness test 4m – By hand signals from the stationary vehicle instruct the judge how high the bar/string should be set to be able to pass through. The bar /string can only be raised!! The driver blows the horn to signal the judge the task is finished.
8. Reverse up to the barrier – Drive backwards towards a simulated wall/barrier. Stop at the best estimated given distance, measured horizontally between the middle back of the vehicle to the nearest point of wall/barrier. The vehicle is to be secured with the parking brake the driver blows the horn to signal the judge the task is finished.
9. Width awareness test – The driver indicates by hand signals from the stationary vehicle to the judge which of the three gates is possible to pass through. The driver blows the horn to signal the judge the task is finished.
10. Reverse to knock the King – The vehicle is approaching in reversing four pillars and nock down only the pillar marked as the king. The vehicle is to be secured with the parking brake the driver blows the horn to signal the judge the task is finished.
Irish National ECO Professional Driver Championship 2023
ECO driving test:
The task is to manage a route in traffic with an average speed of more than 50 km/h and the least consumption of fuel.
To determine the winners, the average speed and the diesel consumption, with a fixed minimum average speed, must be taken into account.
Violations of the traffic regulations, as well as non-compliance with the instructions of the judge, means a disqualification.
